December 1920 - Nagpur Session (Non-Cooperation Movement Proposal Passed)

01st August 1920 - Beginning of Non-Cooperation Movement by Mahatma Gandhi

05 February 1922 - Chauri Chaura Incident (After this incident in Gorakhpur district in Uttar Pradesh the Non-Cooperation Movement was suspended)

08 November 1927 - Appointment of Simon Commission (A seven-member commission was formed under the chairmanship of John Simon)

03 February 1928 - Simon Commission arrives in India (Protest led by Lala Lajpat Rai in India and Lathi charge on him)

October 1928 - Bardoli Satyagraha (Movement of Gujarat farmers against the increase in Tax under the leadership of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel)

08 April 1929 - Lahore Conspiracy Case (Throwing bomb in British Assembly by Bhagat Singh and Batukeshwar Dutt)

December 1929 - Lahore Session of INC (Proposal of Complete Independence)

12 March 1930 to 05 April 1930 - Salt Satyagraha (Mahatma Gandhi Violated the Salt Law by going from Sabarmati Ashram to Dandi and making Salt)

06 April 1930 - Civil Disobedience Movement (Beginning of the Civil Disobedience Movement)

12 November 1930 - 1st Round Table Conference (Held in London under the Chairmanship of Prime Minister MacDonald)

08 March 1931 - Gandhi Irwin Pact (Agreement Between Mahatma Gandhi & Viceroy Irwin and declaration suspending the Civil Disobedience Movement)

07 September 1931 - 2nd Round Table Conference (Gandhi attended the conference)

September 1932 - Poona Pact (An agreement between Gandhi & Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, under which 71 seats were initially reserved for the Dalits in the Provincial Legislative Assemblies in the Communal Tribunal, which has now been increased to 148)

24 March 1946 - Arrival of the Cabinet Mission (Three members of the British Cabinet - Pathik Lawrence, Sir Stafford Cripps & AB Alexander - arrived in India. The Cabinet Mission and the Cabinet Mission Plan were published on May 16th, 1946)

16 August 1946 - Direct Action Day (by Muslim League)

02 September 1946 - Establishment of interim government (Nehru become the Prime Minister)

03 June 1947 - Mountbatten Plan (Viceroy Mountbatten presented the plan for partition of India)

15 August 1947 - Attainment of Independence (by the Indian Independence Act)

26 January 1950 - Dr. Rajendra Prasad was the first President
